  • Description

Tie Guanyin (ti ě  Gu ā N y ī n) Tea, a traditional Chinese tea, belongs to the category of green tea and is one of the top ten famous teas in China. Originating in Xiping Town, Anxi County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, it was discovered between 1723 and 1735. Tieguanyin "is not only the name of tea, but also the name of tea tree varieties. Tieguanyin tea is between green tea and black tea, belonging to the semi fermented tea category. Tieguanyin has a unique" Guanyin charm ", a delicate and elegant fragrance, and after brewing, it has a natural orchid fragrance. The taste is pure and strong, and the aroma is fragrant and long-lasting, earning the reputation of" seven bubbles with more than one fragrance ". In addition to the health care function of ordinary tea, it also has the effects of anti-aging, anti atherosclerosis, prevention and treatment of diabetes, weight loss and bodybuilding, prevention and treatment of dental caries, heat clearing and fire control, and anti smoking and alcohol sobering.

Tieguanyin contains high levels of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, tea polyphenols, and alkaloids, and has a variety of nutritional and pharmacological components, which have the function of health preservation. In the eighth year of the Republic of China, Muzha District was introduced from Anxi, Fujian for trial planting, divided into two types: "Hongxin Tieguanyin" and "Qingxin Tieguanyin". The main production area was in the Wenshan period, where the tree belonged to the transverse type, with rough and hard branches, sparse leaves, few buds, and thick leaves, resulting in low yield. However, the quality of tea produced in the tea bag was high, and the production period was later than that of Qingxin Wulong. Its tree is slightly shaped, with elliptical leaves and thick and fleshy leaves. The blade unfolds flat.
